DSS Dock Seal
The DSS is a dock seal used for sealing the area around the door and the docked vehicle, making use of robust durable pads. The DSS can be used in situations where optimal sealing is very important and differences in vehicle sizes are minimal.
In order to excel in durability, the material from which the DSS cushions are made is characterised by a high tear strength, UV-radiation resistance and resistance against extreme temperature fluctuations. The core of the cushions consists of high quality foam which is chosen by VWNL for its long lasting characteristics. As a standard, the front side of the seal is provided with approach markers. These markers serve as reference points for the driver, in order to dock as accurately as possible.
For custom-made solutions, various options are available. These can increase user-friendliness, improve safety en enable integration with other product or systems on the loading bay.
